T.R. Brite | A & P Graduate

As a young airman looking through a flying magazine, I saw an advertisement for Spartan School of Aeronautics. After requesting more information and upon the completion of duty in the Air Force, I came to Tulsa as a student in October 1966 using the GI Bill to enroll in the A & P mechanics course.
Two days after graduation in November 1967, I began a career with American Airlines where I have been employed for the last 37 years working various positions. Currently I am a Crew Chief in the Pratt and Whitney engine overhaul shop that oversees the maintenance of JT-8D-200 series engines.
The valuable training I received from Spartan was transferable to a college degree and has provided me many opportunities throughout my career in the aviation industry.
